Music 90,000 tweets for a local music event

We were asked to promote a newly launched local Hip Hop night early in 2012. Our task was simple, to try and get people to come down to the launch event and also to get the name of the event as far and wide as possible on twitter.

We worked closely with event organisers and launched the promotion first thing on Saturday morning in order to build the buzz for that evening's event. The event sold out quickly and over 400 people turned up. As everyone walked into the venue they were amazed to see our projected score board and a live feed updating as the players tweeted in.

People who didn't even attend the concert got involved with the competition, as well as the artists themselves!! In total the entire two day promotion received over 90,000 tweets.

Product Launch Doubled the normal tweets

Our platform was used to help support a product launch of a new gadget in the Silicon Valley. Audience members (a lot of bloggers/tweeters) were asked to live tweet updates from the event and we hinted at the fact that people who posted photos would score more then simple mentions.

Whoever won the competition was given an amazing gadget filled hamper and also the opportunity to interview the companies CEO. This was a rare and amazing chance and motivated the audience to tweet a lot about the product launch and snap a few pics.

Festivals Encouraged 5,000 videos to be submitted

In 2012 we were invited to take Tweet-a-lot.com to our first festival! We were given full use a screen to project the scoreboard 24 hours to the festival goers. The three winners of the comp would win a VIP experience for themselves and three friends for the following year's festival so there was a really great incentive for people to play and tweet about the two day event. The festival promoters really wanted players to send in short videos so they were scored higher than any other interaction.

The result? We had over 5,000 videos submitted throughout the course of the two day festival and a total 50,000 tweets were recorded overall.
